Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
Website Discovery, Design & Development
crisisprevention.com
The Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) is an international training organization committed to best practices and safe behavior management methods that focus on prevention. They had four practice areas scattered across four different websites with four different user experiences.
Challenge
To develop a cohesive brand and single online destination that would provide consistent product and service messaging, support Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and other user initiated information gathering, and utilize a technology platform that would afford efficiencies and flexibility.
Solution
We started by developing a cohesive brand and redesigned the company logo to reflect the CPI mission and values. Individual logos for each CPI offering were created, using the same symbol with fresh colors to distinguish the different offerings. The logo shows people reaching out to each other with their hands, symbolizing the integral relationship between CPI and its Certified Instructors in their mission to educate, empower and enrich the lives of others.
Based on customer and Certified Instructor feedback, we designed and developed a new website for CPI. Kentico was selected as the CMS because it provided an affordable, flexible solution. The search engine optimized website provides consistent messaging, a more intuitive navigation, improved account management and an enhanced online shopping experience. We also developed a private online community to connect with and facilitate communication among CPI certified instructors.
Results
The website now provides a cohesive brand experience and consistent messaging across the sub-brands and the community is providing instructors with a place to share information and learn from one another. The new logos and website mirror the company’s commitments to expand the message of care and well-being. The site managed more than 1,700 product orders and event registrations in its first four months, as well as nearly 12,000 registered users in the same period.
